Ear microsuction is the quickest and safest method of earwax removal, including hard or impacted wax. The process is much more comfortable as it avoids touching the sensitive skin of the ear canal with no contact with the eardrum (Tympanic membrane).

The medical suction device will quickly and carefully remove the earwax, whilst constantly maintaining vision of the ear canal using loupes with minimal risk of further complications.

We do also use both water (irrigation) and dry tools depending on needs and other factors.

Each appointment duration is approximately30-45 minutes at our shop on Woodlands Road in Ansdell.

£70 fee

A £50 assessment/ examination fee is payable if no wax is found or unsuitable for micro suction.

​

We also offer a £25 otoscopy only appointment - this is suitable for clients who are unsure if they have wax. We can then advise the client on their individual needs.
